They take the money, spend a bunch on people, and then do a project or two. Since they have no core skills they outsource everything. And of course everyone makes money, except BLSP (excluding the senior management). They promote new projects while current ones are under construction. Why, because as soon as the newly constructed ones come on line, their level of profitability is POOR! NONE of these GREEN AD projects ever meet the spreadsheet projections.
Eventually the investment community steps back as the losses roll in. A few losing "Impact" investments are enough and the investors write it off to an effort in which they were "early pioneers" into the space and will sit on the sidelines until the economics become more favorable.
This is very tough business as the technology is VERY expensive and the OPEX is also quite expensive. Energy in the US and many places in the world is CHEAP. AD simply does not work when the energy prices are low even with all the substities.
Someone will come along and pickup these projects for pennies on the dollar and BLSP will slide under the waves as so many before them.
As I have said before, NO SECRETE SAUCE.
Investors have been burned for YEARS now and most will take to the sidelines until something changes.
