the more share authorize they have, the cheaper they can keep the price down and the more money they will get. If shares are limited then the price will be high. Remember if supply cannot meet demand then the price goes up and you have to pay more to get it. if there is more supply then demand then the price stay low. Ever want to buy something that is out of stock and you see it selling for a much higher price then when it was in stock.
