In my opinion...a good many folks this day and time that actually believe in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob...and i say that because He is and has always been the only true living "God" of the universe...all the other "gods" are only fantasies in peoples minds! Many people have adapted their own version..own standard..to what is right and wrong. The morality bar has not just been lowered...its been completely tossed aside. Things that folks use to be shocked about is just common place today...no big deal. Even many folks that believe in "God" and read the Bible have somehow come to believe that much of the Bible dont apply today...because all they teach or want to hear is the warm and fuzzes and the bad stuff like hell and sin and consequences have been tossed aside. They know what scripture says...black and white...but they somehow have come to believe that Gods COMPLETE word is not relevant in todays world! Heres my take. The biggest thing to come along of satan today that is destroying this nation...society... of the USA and many churches is "political correctness". To the world it has created gray areas to all aspects of life including the Bible. Folks want to pick and choose what they believe and disregard the rest as a suggestion. Many folks will take the word of Dr. Phil or Oprah or the Joel Osteens of the world over Gods word! Well...i hate to break the news to those folks...but...there are no grey areas in Gods word and the world is filled with wolves in sheep clothing! Nothing has changed...nothing has been rewritten...God is the same yesterday...today and forever! So today...including a good many so called christians...folks live their lives skipping along singing Kumbaya thinking their ticket to heaven is punched and im afraid they are in for a big surprise when they draw their last breath in these human bodies!... i take no joy in saying that....but there again...scripture is very clear about the MANY headed to hell and the FEW headed to heaven...and...that Many on that day thinking they are saved will hear Depart from Me...I never knew you! Which path are we truly walking?
