To be honest, not funny at all. Those artifacts were recovered many years ago by Heartland. This outfit has been playing in this area now for a number of years, finding one cannon (initially found by Heartland), a buckle and some odds and ends in side or upper deck wood. All probable signs of a trail of flotsam, not an actual shipwreck of which they claimed "they're on". This is just my opinion but then what would I know? Now, many back to back good diving days. Are they discovering 18th Century cultural material typically found in a shipwreck site and in its perimeter?

Cannons, anchors, ballast, numerous olive jars & shards, lower hull timbers, ceramics, cross section of artifacts, cargo, weaponry, etc., gold and silver coins and bars. That's usually indicative of being "on" a shipwreck. About time for discovery and not assumptions.
