Is my thinking wrong?

I have been long on Delcath for over a year. Yes, even held through 2 splits as I was a believer and yes, even accumulated more.

I started selling off earlier this week and will finish today holding about 4.5k shares in inventory.

From my reading of the latest S-1, I will have the right to buy up to an additional 4.5k shares at $1.75 (the subscription price) if I so desire and if I fully subscribe, I can also request x amount of shares over my allotment at the $1.75 price.

Is my interpretation right or wrong? If it is right, why would current longs be buying more at the current price when they can get it at $1.75?

Still stuck in the South China Sea but wanted to throw this out there while I had a satellite available.
