the market for these stocks is quite simple and it has placed a valued on this company that is suggesting the patents are worthless and are a drag on cash

You can dispute the valuation all you want, but the market is telling you that, not me. I don't control the share price. You can feel its undervalued, but the market clearly does not as its not correcting that undervaluation is it?

The market, which is made up of all investors and traders in this sector have made a statement on value, you may choose to disagree with that, but it does not change the FACT that this is how the market is valuing it.
