My wife is retired from AT&T and I'm on her discounted plan so it's not about the price. I refuse to be one of those people who can't live life for having their nose in their phone all day.
I also do not want text. I understand sometimes it's a way to communicate when speaking isn't possible, but I don't need it and I see my wife texting back and forth 6-8 times when a 30 sec call would work better.
I hardly ever take a picture, but I do have an ipad I had to get to video golf students and analyze their swing for them. It does have a fantastic camera, but otherwise I haven't really learned to use it. I'm learning to use the calender so I can schedule the lessons, etc.
I have people walk in front of my car in parking lots, etc looking at their phones and never saw me coming, stepdaughter and her husband texting each other while in the same room.....I just think it's out of hand and don't care to participate.
Same as how I feel about alcohol and pot, don't understand why people use it, never tried it, never felt like I was missing anything.
Yes, I'm an odd bird and don't follow the crowd, stubborn and hard headed, but very emotionally well adjusted per a psychologist I dated for 4 yeats, lol.
I just really don't care what people think.
