No not directly, but indirectly it prob would... market cap is a way to value a company... you can use it to quickly gauge a company by looking at their market cap, but it’s not the tell all...

Market cap=OS x PPS... there is only two ways to raise market cap, PPS goes up or OS goes up... and OS going up is dilution. RS or Split will not raise or lower a market cap.

Grant money... well that will cause people to be attracted to the stock, hence buying it and the PPS rising... so it would affect it indirectly.
