It's a real shame that Detroit has to face such mediocrity. Granted the Mets and Cards are banged up, but neither has the heart nor pitching of Detroit, Leyland & Pudge.
If you get a chance read the Tom Boswell in the Washington Post, on Carlos Delgado, truly a class act. He actually keeps a database of pitchers and their tendencies.

Odd how the Angels traded David Eckstein to shore up their league leading defence and had the one of their worst defensive seasons on record, should have kept both Glaus & Eckstein
