The price went up due to both, sympathy with GLMD and more importantly, because there is a predator out there (BMY) with a big pocket ($9 Billion cash) looking for any promising NASH player. If it does not but Madrigal CNAT is one of the contenders for "beauty queen".

So is not surprising that buyers are jumping on the possible BO wagon.
