Godspeed to mretgnol. i just hope he doesnt get ganged up on & given an offer he "cant refuse" that is too low just to make him go away.
yes a nickel per share is better than nothing, but given the YEARS, & deceptions, there should be 50 to 70 cents at least on the table. at least, i would think. but what do i know - that's my humble opinion and I dont think that's being greedy or stupid, but I am just looking in on this from the outside.
Brokers SOLD & SOLD & SOLD and took in large amounts of cash AFTER the Aug 11 DTC Memo where the DTC essentially told their broker friends that they would no longer clear or sanction or faciliate BCIT trades.
But the DTC is in some ways largely like a giant brokerage, run mostly by broker types, with Brokers on their board. I fully expect the DTC to act in the brokers' interest foremostly. DTC: "here's a nickel, now get lost."
We know so little of how mretgnol is actually valiantly trying to accomplish this, and I am very thankful to him for putting forth the effort, but perhaps he might consider a couple genius but brutal, hard-nose negotiator/lawyer types to stand by his side in any 'negotiations' or meetings. just consider it. or maybe he has already done this.
Mretgnol, i wish you could tell us more, i understand your necessary secrecy. if there was a way you could trust people through some kind of vetting process and give us some kind of updates, perhaps some could assist you in ways you haven't even thought of. seems like you are getting close to the point of no return?
On the other hand, perhaps the best way to make a deal here is over a beer or out on the golf course anyway.
