Thank you janetcanada, I have been googling it, but all is said is to "buy at the ask"...what I can't figure out is how to do that. Do I do that in my etrade account somehow? Like I said I am brand new and these are my first stocks ever. I just want to know how to protect them against shorting. Thanks again!
