It will be interesting to see if they require taking the credit card info as a security deposit. Time is a premium on a flight and they might not want to waste it taking that kind of information. Supposedly, the security features on the player would make it unnecessary to do this (ie - noone would try to steal it anyway).

Coming back to that, I would guess people could shop on the player without wireless, but again coming back to the issue of smooth deboarding from the plane. You wouldn't want to hold everyone up while the attendant was checking and fulfilling the order. The best (w/o wireless) would be for people to order during the flight and have the attendant come with the goods before final approach.
