I am not sure why you are saying spooz v1 was broken. I went back and reread the pr from Darryl on Sept 12. Nowhere does it say or anyone who has used Spooztoolz that it had bugs or didn't work. I have done my own DD and even found a programer that worked for Spooz last year.. this is the PR:
