Incorrect again

in fact removes layers from the process.
installing scanners on all doors requiring that level of access control would be cost prohibitive.
plus, time to install readers on all doors, plus training of access control staff and ongoing maintenance.
plus, in your model, fingerprint is not protected as it now resides in some black box within a company.
you are way off.
in SMME model it remains secured with the person.
