Are you asking what is a backstop offering? Not sure if that's what your asking but
A backstop is when they provide last-resort support or security in an offering for the unsubscribed shares so that when they attempt to raise money through an issuance, and guarantee it , it gets a backstop from an underwriter or big shareholder to buy any of the unsubscribed shares
