Absolutely Correct JC. You can check this by selling some shares in any stock. I have checked this out many times. When you sell your shares the volume of what you sold shows up in the Buying column. When you Buy they show up in the selling column. Why? because of what you just stated. Someone sold you the shares. Which is why I like to view the selling column much more than the buying.
