I’m wondering if they purposely did it now “just in case” something doesn’t pass with the legalization since they know share price will then tank and they would have to add way more shares to get the same amount of cash out of it. I’m sure long term it’s not a bad thing but it ruins any hopes of a big run-up through legalization.
