Sounds good but your facts are a bit off. It is not a true vaccine. It is to be used in cases where a person already has the cancer. It does not prevent it it is suppose to slow the growth rate down. with prostate cancer it is a very slow growing cancer in most cases. Most men that get it die from another cause. What they are hopeful to do is decrease the PSA count to a slow crawl so you can outlive the cancer and die from something else.

There are three means to treat this cancer., Radiation, proctectomy and active surveillance. This drug would used in the active surveillance treatment.

As for the VA funding that is done and over with. They helped fund the first studies. It has nothing to do with a contract to treat military.
