I think the plan was to give themselves a million shares in any case - if the shares were trading at $0.08 it would have been an $80,000 gift (with higher taxes, of course). If John was smart he would trade in a large chunk of the "salary" owed to him for some sort of restricted stock which would vastly improve the balance sheet, give him additional board control and reduce his taxes. I would also like to see maybe half a million "forgiven" as the salary level was way too high for far too long.

Then, a surge of orders + full capacity at the plant, could lead the way to between $0.15 and $0.20 per share. Getting the manufacturing efficiency, equipment efficacy and pricing right could at last give us entry into the other markets.

I do agree that the timing of the "bonus" was convenient, to say the least.
