By the internet standards, yes hound labs is ahead. It doesn’t matter, hound only detects presence of thc, not recency of use. YES hound labs will get to the “finish line” first. Happy with that answer? This does not mean the laws will be written for the first to the “finish line”. In a nutshell, hounds device has virtually the same capabilities as SecureTec’ oral fluid test. I commend Hound Labs on their progress but it’s not enough. With alcohol it’s simple, we have BAC. The equivalent to BAC will not simply be “presence”, it will be “recency of use”. Enter Dr Huestis, this is exactly what she is advocating. She said -“a pot breathalyzer will be difficult”, not impossible. 11-nor-9-carboxy-tetrahydrocannabinol is the key to recency of use. AMG your missing link is staring in the face.

The only scientific word Hound Labs uses is THC, they have a lot of scientific looking words referring to per this per that chem this chem that, other than THC, with the entirety of the plant, nothing nadda. Cannabix was able to detect THC a long a** time ago. Why would law enforcement, etc, spend millions on devices when the much cheaper oral fluid test harbours the same result? Patience. Just some food for thought.
