Day 2 of the 2018 Women's College World Series has come to a close, and Friday showed us once again how entertaining this tournament already is.
A pair of Pac-12 schools advanced in each respected winners' brackets as Washington downed top-seeded Oregon 6-2, while UCLA outlasted Florida 6-5 in a thrilling comeback in the second game.

What was destined to be a pitchers' duel as both the Huskies and Ducks struggled to produce any sort of offense early on, Washington's offense finally got going in the fifth inning when it plated four runs and two more in the sixth before holding off a late Oregon run.
After trailing 4-0 through three innings, the Bruins' offense errupted in the top of the fourth to score five runs highlighted by a Taylor Pack three-run home run to give UCLA the lead.
