I am a shareholder of NNRF. I do not have a large position but have always thought they may be able to put something together that was investable. That hasn’t panned out as of yet, but it appears something is in the works. I just don't what that is.
I recently discovered that a company was incorporated in the State of Florida on April 11, 2018, and subsequently filed as a foreign corporation in the State of California on April 18th, going by the name of Spectrumlink Entertainment. You can see it at the Secretary of State websites for Florida and California. The reason this may be relevant here is that the Agent listed on their filing is Bernard Smith Mayfield, who was/is the CEO of Spectrumlink, Inc. In addition, listed on the filing are John Holt Smith and Tomi Holden, who were/are involved to some degree with NNRF. They also provide a Downey, CA address which is the same as Spectrumlink’s address. They just recently filed in Hawaii under the same name, Spectrumlink Entertainment. This is information you can be find in the respective states’ websites for business filings.
Back in 2015, NNRF acquired Brookside Pershing and its wholly owned subsidiary, Spectrumlink, Inc.. There was never a formal announcement from NNRF as to what the final outcome was with regard to Spectrumlink, Inc., but based on my minimal knowledge and personal opinion, I believe that business relationship was not finalized. The recent filings in FL, CA and HI would lead me to believe that there is possibly something brewing (or re-brewing) between NNRF and Spectrumlink, Inc. through the creation of Spectrumlink Entertainment. We’ll see.
