I think what is really going on here is that folks are realizing the financing is very soon and they don't want to be left behind. That's it. So, all day they held off with their hand on the trigger waiting sellers out until they couldn't any longer. They then slapped a few asks. IMO. Also, I think it was a smart play on the buyer's side cause they will be rewarded soon. IMO.
