I think the release and the website are pretty about what these devices can do. You plug them in to your TV and the internet and signal is upscaled. The device is comprised of a purchased computer kit to which Tmmi’s upscaling tech has been inserted.

As I am reading it, the plan is to get these devices out there to demonstrate the product, perhaps sparking an interest of a large scale manufacturer.
