Ok, I just saw what wbmw was talking about....a $20 million tax benefit on top of $131 million in operating income? WTF is that about?

These numbers stand out:

Q3 2005 results minus proceeds from the spun-off memory division that quarter:

Revenue: $1.01 billion
Op. Income: $129 million

Q3 2006 results:

Revenue: $1.33 billion
Op. Income: $119 million

Revenue increased 32%, but all those extra sales actually decreased the bottom line by 8%.

Maybe the report isn't quite as rosy as I initially thought...

Does my heart proud to see dear old Uncle Sam support a publically traded company using my tax dollars (NOT). If anybody finds out what's up with that, I'm damn curious to know...
