June 6th:
Senate Markup of Farm Bill including Mitch’s HEMP FARMING ACT OF 2018

Committee Markup
A markup is a meeting of the committee to debate and consider amendments to a measure under consideration. The markup determines whether the measure pending before a committee will be recommended to the full Senate, and whether it should be amended in any substantive way.

June 7th:
Canada’s Senate Votes on Federal Legalization of Recreational MJ

June 22nd:
Revote on House Farm Bill

June 27th:
FDA decision on Epidiolex


I believe Mitch will call for a vote on his hemp legalization bill on the Senate Floor ASAP after THE FARM BILL comes out of Committee, because he has already stated on record that hemp legalization is red meat for Senate Dems, which he will need to get to the 60-vote threshold required for passage

For similar reasons, Mitch will also want his Senate to pass their Farm Bill in an expeditious manner, because The House Farm Bill is far more likely to pass this time around if the Senate has already passed their version beforehand

This would give the Senate Farm Bill a 2-week window to pass (June 7th - June 21st)
