Another coworker bought a Mac Pro.

Dual-Dual 3.0 Ghz, 4 GB and generally an expensive machine.

He now has three PowerMacs and a Mac Pro.

Observations are that it's nice but it's not his main machine
yet. He's still using the Power 2.7 Ghz machine. There are still
some bugs in the Mac Pro (Intel) which require boots and cause
hangs from time to time.

The virtualization software still has some problems too.

He's waiting for a few software packages to be ported over along
with some bugs to be fixed to make it his main system. He also
plans to add 2 GB of memory as 4 isn't enough for what he's doing.
