Yes, if a shareholder can prove fraud, they can pierce the corporate veil and go after the culprits personally. There are law firms that specialize in this kind of litigation. The catch is that you have to be able to pin it on someone that has some money or assets. I think there might be a possibility in this situation but it is admittedly a slim possibility.
