There are hundreds of public companies on the TSX, OTC, and other exchanges that don't make money, haven't made money for years and years, and continue to issue shares to fund ongoing business (which means paying people to help move the business forward, paying rent, paying accountants, paying filing fees) People continue to buy private placements in these companies solely based on speculation.
