Fingers crossed TH...

The last time I passed out made quite a story...
it was when #1 son had surgery...he was in recovery...
had an IV in his hand...
he was moving the hand and the cord was caught on the rack above (Sloppy Nurses) so I reached up and freed it...looked down...bloody Hell...
they didn't cover the needle entry with tape...
I could feel it coming right away...
I remembered a bathroom across the hall from the waiting room...had to get there to slash water on my face
Made it there...soooo what's the first thing you do when you enter a single bathroom in a public place???...lock the door...yep ole Einstein here locked the door...realized it as I was at the sink and going to my knees now...
I quickly splashed water to my face and forced myself up saying to myself...gotta get out and find the Nurses station.
I made it out and was making my way through the waiting room...people were looking at me like they had seen a ghost...Hmmm maybe I was that pale...LOL
I made it to the nurses station and before I could utter a word...
Nurse blurted out...ORDERLY...a huge male grabbed me and put me in a wheelchair...hadn't been man handled like that since the Mountain...grins
They wheeled my into a recovery room...as I passed #1's room my ex said...there goes your father
Dr had a sense of humour though...told me he wouldn't charge extra for me
