Lehman should sell to the Fed sense that LBI was a broker dealer of Treasury securities. IMO Why are they going to the Market?? Or even EU.
OOHH Yah the Bond market is Busted and Broke. IMO They have no choice but to sell to the private Market IMO. My best guess that they are selling at a deep discounts. Best bet is to refi the remaining Securities at a lower rate while there still low. IMO

Why??? ...The Currency coming in can be offset by the rates going out. IE Payments. IMO
Cash value anyone???
