It means that he will allow you to surprise him. He will not prevent you from surprising him. The sentence says nothing regarding whether you will or will not surprise him. You are also incorrect.

I agree that all this poster does is pump the stock without justifiable reason. But why are you incorrectly commenting on his grammar? Especially when you know it’s not a first language. Is this productive for you? I am commenting on your post because I’m hoping to make this a useful board and not have to sift through garbage, like your post.
