2016 article. Do you think after 6 years they would still waste money on a technology if they weren't confident it was a keeper. Started working with ExxonMobil in 2011
FuelCell Energy, whose second-largest shareholder is utility NRG Energy Inc, makes small-scale power plants across the United States. Exxon contacted the company in 2011 to begin research, said Chip Bottone, FuelCell Energy’s chief executive.
Is everyone assuming ExxonMobil and Fuel cell are wasting millions and millions on a technology they just dawdled with for almost 7 years. Get real. 1 year or less till we have orders to install more.
