Kind of brings to mind the "peak oil" mantra of the 2000's. Now the world is "lousy" with oil.

And there is something like $2B sitting on the floor of the Caribbean Sea from the early 1700's shipwreck that is in the news this week. The $2B is not all gold, probably silver and other precious items.

IMO, there is a LOT of undiscovered gold out there. We might be reaching "peak production" from existing mines. JMO

Everyone should own some gold to have when the U.S. currency is devalued 50 percent during the next 5-10 years. JMO here also.
