Going public was a huge mistake, and I think in part because of that he doesn't trust himself or others to do the things that would make him a boatload of $$.
Also probably lacks the nerve -- the guts -- to try to really make it big by, say, doing filings and then doing a secondary where he sells some of his own shares.
Or he could do a secondary to get some capital to make IDLM a real competitor, branching out into other genres of music.
Or he could sell access to the Datpiff name for branded merchandise.
So many ways to make money!!!
But Marcus isn't dumb. I just think he is timid. I think he lacks what it takes to really build a business.
I am hoping he sells the darn thing for 20c a share and he and I can part ways. He claims to care about shareholders. But he lacks what it takes to step up and correct the mistakes he made.
I am obviously NOT an investment advisor.
