Thats what Moelis plan where they want pref holders to flourish in cost of common shareholder. Thats why its DOA plan, it will enriching HFs only. The only solution here is to bring back equity in full value , forego sr pref warrants (since debt & interest paid off)... then ppl will jump and invest in FnF which will act as first buffer in time of crisis. Another thing is to have law where GOV can NOT take them back in future.. so how to do that ? thru proper regulation and audit from FDIC and made them completely private.
