Financials are not priority to a small rapidly growing company with limited staff.

Period.

Making you happy doesn't make them money, doesn't generate cash flow and doesn't pay the bills.

This isn't Starbucks.

Their team is working on Financials when they have time, otherwise they are working on growing the company. Also, the Qs arnt that important, they are probably more concerned with making sure everything is good for the 10K, so its not super late again.

Thats my guess.
