You need to watch the second fight between Shamrock and Ortiz if you haven't already. That one was stopped too soon and is the reason for the third fight and is also the reason it was free. Dana White put it on free TV because he doesn't think the fans got their moneys worth.

Their last meeting was not stopped too early IMO. And even Shamrock thought it was properly stopped. He said he was "out". It ended the war. The two of them basically made up for the past and it was good for the sport. That fight allowed a lot of people that might not have been willing to pay PPV prices to watch MMA a chance to see what the sport is like. It was great promo.

As for the other fight. Definitley lesser quality fighters but they were fighting in front of an empty house. It was just a time filler. IMO.

"Sort of" is such a harmless thing to say. "Sort of". It's just a filler. "Sort of" - It doesn't really mean anything. But after certain things, "sort of" means everything. Like after "I love you" or "You're going to live" or "It's a boy".
