Going over the 10Q and 10K am realizing that we are still very early in the race. Most of the patents are going to have a 5 to 10 year value and the wins are going to be smaller than I thought. I guess the process is: secure patents through loans, file suits and fight it out for a few years. When they win a good chunk of the proceeds are going to go to lawyers and third party funders. After that, more suits and hopefully quicker settlements with a good chunk of winnings going to lawyers and funders again. I guess over time they can reduce the third party funders and use their own cash to buy IP.
I have to give some Big Time credit to Jon Scahill for keeping the company alive and building this business from a pile of ashes. Really this company should have died years ago.
I guess the question becomes: How does the share price increase?
