Haven't visited here in awhile, but I see the same misspelled words and incomplete sentences by some detractors. Since I haven't been here in awhile and I see there is some confusion over Orocobre's management....let me pontificate :)

Good riddance for the exit of Richard Seville....Mr' Gladhand as he is known in mining circles. Spent 5 years milking and extracting every cent he could while Orocobre struggled to open. Since my first conversations with Seville back in 2014 as he was ramping up another lie about the opening of the facility....it would seem Toyota finally tired of his BS and offed him.

All the while this was happening there was this company in Nevada selling for .15 that morphed into a piston grease company and merged with a scam outfit out of Canada to become what we now know as an over leveraged Argentine company with little value other than if you counted the number of posts it warranted. But we'll leave that for another day. The reason Orocobre went up today is because of the Tianqi's purchase of 1/3 of SQM from Nutrien. That seemed to have stilted every lithium company except SQM and LAC. Seems that the Chinese acquisition has pleased some...but not others. I wonder where LAC will end up after Tianqi starts exerting influence over the management of SQM ? hmmmm?! Could be that LAC will be phased out when SQM makes a deal with Orocobre. SQM only propped up LAC to guarantee land leases in the event they were booted out of Chile. Now that they are back in with the government I hear talk of exiting the LAC deal and throwing in with Orocobre for their Argentine presence since Orocobre has an 'actual' plant up and operating. Part of the reason for offing the imbecile Seville who couldn't operate his way out of a wet papered evaporation pond.
Well...since I started this board back in what 2013? or was it 2014 Billy? Things have definitely changed in the world of lithium and (cobalt):) I'll be back occasionally to fill you guys in on the happenings. Meanwhile...don't get your hopes up just yet. Have to see what happens with Toyota's upcoming announcement with Albemarle's Chilean expansion and talked about off take agreement.
