I held MNTA for more than a decade. Most of the time I expected at least a 5 bagger, perhaps as much as 10. I got a little more than 2.5X my original investment.
I was and remain impressed with their science. I'm unaware of any other small cap biotech that the FDA has sought assistance from.
I fear that the current management team will not protect its IP. AS many others have pointed out, they have a dismal track record. I've come to the conclusion that CW doesn't even know that he has this problem and is likely to repeat his past failures.
I don't know if NVS should have a share of the blame or not. I'm seeing no evidence that CW is assessing the issue.
If they return to single digit price (market forced rather than dilution by CW forced), I'll consider buying the shares back, (i.e. do they still have promising science that hasn't yet been stolen from them?)
But I suspect that I'm gone.
