It was especially moronic for Foley to re-use the Bridgeport $21m lie after it got exposed in the Longside case. He even told Longside themselves that that was where the money was coming from, and they had to know it was a lie!

So what sort of mentality can't keep his lies straight to the extent that he wouldn't concoct a new fake sugar daddy rather than re-use one of the blown ones? Did he not even go over the evidence that Gulas delivered to the court?

Maybe he's trying to set up an insanity defense. But even for that, he'd have a much better hope of claiming insanity by just walking into the local mall's food court and taking a whiz on someone's Cinnabon.
