New member here. I've been reading these boards for a few months and thought I'd try to contribute my two cents. I'm guessing everyone listened - several times - to the conf call. So we have lots of new info about the upcoming product we did not have before. I understand how upbeat management is about Capstone Connected Surfaces, but as you all know, sometimes products do flop, good ideas sometimes fail, therefore I think investing more at this point is pure speculation if we don't know what the product is. It's ok to have faith in management, and have confidence they are right about their evaluation of the product's potential, but any investment based on faith, well, it's basically speculation. BTW, I am also guilty of speculation at this point (since I'm here as a shareholder), but I think this can be a very interesting entry point, if only we knew what the product was and could form our own opinion of it's potential (rather than rely on management).

So...I did a little digging. As you know, Capstone will be participating at CES2019. If you look at the floor plan, the first thing you notice is that they are in the 'wireless devices & services' section. That's not a surprise, as we know that it is a tablet like device that uses wifi. However, what's interesting is that Capstone stand is situated between Igloohome, a smart lock manufacturer, and Shenzhen Kaadas Inteligent, another smart lock manufacturer. Hmmmm...so now we have new info. Directly behind Capstone is an alarm system manufacturer. Behind them to the left is iCreations who has a fingerprint lock and a wifi video doorbell. That's a lot of door related exhibitors, with Capstone smack in the middle.

But I still can't figure out what the product is. We know what it isn't...it is not a smart home product because 1) management said so (in fact they said it doesn't exist) and 2) there is a smart home section at CES and that's not where Capstone is.

We also know that it is like a tablet and 'complements' smart phones; can download and run programs. I think there are a lot of smart people on this board, if we put our heads together, we should be able to figure out what the product is. I looked at the patents registered by Capstone but couldn't find anything interesting (other than the ceiling lamp simulating a UFO, which I found funny). The Connected Surfaces name has been trademarked, and the fact that it is SurfaceS and not Surface means perhaps it can be more than one tablet-like device to put in other rooms.I just don't see what you couldn't do with a phone or tablet already that you would need another tablet-like device. So I guess the device should have something that phones don't have, maybe an RFID reader or something. I found this patent (from 2015), maybe it's something along those lines (https://patents.justia.com/patent/20160239001) but Stuart said they started working on this 15 months ago, so that must not be it.

Any specific guesses that would have something to do with a door lock?
