I believe the original comment was in reference to Billions of shares sold historically. This simply isn't the case and the historical volume shows this very clearly. The share price is determined by more than one factor. The ultimate factor in making a determination of the value of a stock, it quite simply comes down to what someone is willing to pay for it. The buyer is always the one who determines what they are willing to pay for anything.
