If Dan Gertler circumvents the USA sanctions on his business dealings by instead selling those royalty rights to China then the road to securing cobalt for VW, Tesla, GM, the Japs, and the Koreans is going to get a whole lot more difficult and bloody as these EV manufacturers are going to do a whole lot more crawling on their knees (over tiny broken glass shards) to the Chinese Emperor begging for cobalt to keep their lithium batteries from blowing up little blonde-hair blue-eyed 4-year old kids and catching them on fire in the back seat while mommy takes them to pre-school/soccer-practice.

You would think that if America is so comfortable with 50 Palestinians getting killed along with hundreds more deliberately shot in the legs these past few days in Gaza that lifting the sanctions on Israeli Dan Gertler would be no problem for them to swallow also. Dan should hire Michael Cohen to represent him on the crippling sanctions... after all, they do speak the same lingo.
