This whole idea of naked shorting has to be stopped. It should be illegal. Period. There is no good excuse to allow it in the first place. Shorting is one thing, shoritng with fake shares is counterfeit money. Since the system is unable to clean itself up after allowing FTD's that are supposed to provide liquidity in severe cases then they should do away with that option period.

The abuse is completely out of hand.
