CURRENT STATUS:

As of MAY 14, 2018 ...

* VPLM has defeated Unified Patents, Apple and AT&T in all 8 IPR petitions brought before the PTAB.

* VPLM has 20+ granted patents and 1 main RBR patent granted in India and Europe with countless others in the prosecution stages in various countries around the world.

* VPLM is in the process of recovering 100 million shares from Locksmith Financial and Richard Kipping (former CEO of VPLM) . The defendants in this case refuse to appear in court in person or defend themselves by putting forth the facts to substantiate their positions.

* VPLM has initiated Federal infringement suits against: Apple, AT&T, Verizon and Twitter. The stays against Twitter, Verizon & ATT have been lifted but the stay against Apple remains in place pending a decision by the PTAB on its motion request for a rehearing and/or sanctions in its IPR loss against VPLM before the PTAB. Apple lost the IPR petition on ALL CLAIMS and is not requesting a rehearing based upon any merit of the claims. There less than a 5% chance the PTAB will rule in Apple's favor which places VPLM in a very favorable position moving forward.


* VPLM IS WAITING FOR A DECISION BY THE PTAB IN REGARDS TO APPLE'S REHEARING REQUEST BEFORE IT TAKES STEPS TO INCREASE THE DAMAGES AMOUNT IN ITS FEDERAL INFRINGEMENT SUIT. THE BELIEF HELD BY MANY IS THAT THE DAMAGES INCREASE WILL BE VERY SIGNIFICANT.

* TWITTER HAS FILED A MOTION WITH THE FEDERAL COURT TO CHANGE VENUE.

* ATT & VERIZON, VPLM HAVE ALL BEEN ASKED TO MAKE A QUERY WITH THE JUDGE OVERSEEING THE APPLE INFRINGEMENT CASE TO DETERMINE WHETHER CONSOLIDATION OF THE CASES IS IN ALL PARTY'S INTERESTS.

* VPLM'S LATEST QUARTERLY 10-Q STATEMENT REFLECTS A DRAMATIC INCREASE IN CASH ON HAND ($2+ MILLION DOLLARS). THIS ALSO COULD REFLECT A BIT OF DILUTION TOO.

* VPLM HAS HIRED NEW LEGAL COUNSEL BOTH TO OVERSEE CURRENT AND FUTURE PATENT PROSECUTION AT THE USPTO AND TO SHEPHARD THE CURRENT LITIGATION AT THE PTAB AGAINST APPLE.

* A VPLM SHAREHOLDER CONFERENCE CALL HAS NOT BEEN HELD FOR QUITE SOME TIME AND MANY SHAREHOLDERS FEEL THAT ONE IS LONG OVERDUE.
