Fortunately for shareholders, Shannon seems to be a science geek who is not motivated by money. I'm sure he lives comfortably off his pension. Doesn't seem like the type of guy who blows his money on fast cars and faster women. Seems to have a conscience, so I'd bet
he would toss a bone to shareholders if he has any say.

Ed' s a piece of s@#t, that a given. Not so sure about others involved, but since Shannon's the straw that stirs the AS drink, shareholders will have a chance as long as he's involved.
