The Bloomberg article on TPL was poorly written. They compare the valuation to the Dot-Com bubble. I do not believe TPL has ever reported a
loss (at least over the past ten years.) TPL today trades at a forwad PE
of around 21. TPL is debt-free and cash rich. As to the salary increse
for the 2 executives...well, TPL cannot issue stock or warrants to
employees (or anyone else) so why not reward excellent performance with
a salary hike. At least the (undeserved) decline creates a good time to
buy TPL for those who understand it.
